Split System Air Conditioning

Inverter Split Systems are ideal for air conditioning one room or a specific area of a home. A wide variety of models are offered to suit your requirements and are available in either wall mounted or floor standing type.

A Split System air conditioning system is one that splits its components into two parts: an indoor unit, which contains the evaporator component, and an outdoor unit which houses the compressor and condenser components. Split system air conditioners are generally wall mounted.

Multi Split Air Conditioning - Multi Split Systems can heat or cool multiple rooms using only one outdoor unit connected to multiple indoor units. Each indoor unit can also be individually controlled, scheduled and set to the desired room temperature.

Reverse Cycle Air Conditioners

Reverse Cycle air conditioning units have the key benefit of both heating and cooling.

Furthermore, the technology has progressed such that Reverse cycle air conditioners have become really energy efficient and reverse cycle air conditioning is one of the most energy efficient heating methods available.

Note that a Reverse Cycle Systems (with one outdoor unit) can not heat one room and cool another at the same time. The outdoor unit is designed especially with split ducted and split systems it only allows the one unit to either cool or heat.

Did you know?

Inefficient cooling costs more money!

Every degree that you cool your interior = an approximately 10% increase in energy consumption and the energy cost of running your air conditioner.

Heating & Cooling Energy Consumption

Are usually the biggest contributor to your electricity bill!

It makes sense (financially and environmentally) to ensure you have the most efficient air conditioning system AND that you adopt simple, smart practices such as:

  • closing doors
  • using curtains and blinds on windows
  • turning off cooling & heating when not needed
  • regular cleaning of your air conditioning unit
  • adoption of passive building design measures (such as shading in summer, and allowing the sun to warm your interior spaces in winter).
